Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of upper limb function and satisfaction of work ability based on trunk stability training after stroke.

Methods: In this study, 25 hospitalized patients were subjected to upper limb approach combined with trunk stabilization training for 13 patients and general occupational therapy for 12 patients. In this study, the difference in satisfaction with upper limb function and satisfaction of work ability before and after intervention was evaluated using stroke Manual Function test (MFT) and Work Ability Index (WAI).

Results: There was a significant difference in the comparison of MFT and WAI before and after intervention in the experimental group (p<.05). In the control group, there was no significant difference between MFT and WAI (p>.05). After the intervention, there was a significant difference in WAI between the two groups (p<.05).

Conclusion: Through this study, upper limb approach combined with trunk stability training for stroke patients is thought to help improve satisfaction of work ability and upper limb function.
